Diaper off w/ poo a'flyin'

Hey mom, look what I can do today? I can take my diaper off! Wheeeee, the fresh air feels good. I like my new tricks. I'm one. I'm taking my first steps. I can hold my diaper in one hand and use it for balance. I'm practically a genius. Aren't you proud of me? I know you are. You're taking pictures. Even the cat is proud of me. What's that mom? Ella's going to watch me while you take a shower? Ok. That's fine. I love my sister. We'll just watch some cartoons. Really, you don't have to put a diaper back on me. I like this new found freedom. Well, if you insist.
Did I tell you I can take my diaper off?

You love me.

The Birthday's
Johnny
OK, my little miss Ella is in playschool with this little boy named Johnny. They have known each other for over a year now. Last Thursday, this is what Johnny told his mom as they were getting ready to go to school. "Mom, make me handsome because I feel today is the day that I will marry Ella." Sweet, huh? Adorable, absolutely! After class, Ella whispered in Johnny's ear the words "will you marry me?"(prompted by me) and Johnny turned red and asked his mom what he should say. He then decided to simply say "thank you". He then put his arm around Ella's neck and they started skipping down the hall chanting "We're in love! We're in love!" Is this still sweet and adorable? I know, I know... I encouraged it. Shame on me. Isn't he handsome? :)

Angel Lake
We went on a picnic today with Grammy and Papa Bill at Angel Lake. It was a beautiful little lake about an hour from Elko, Nevada. Grammy and Ella went on a hike that took about an hour and thirty minutes! They had a huge adventure climbing over streams and rocks and seeing a beautiful waterfall. We had a nice picnic over looking the lake, an

I Hear My Elko!
Ella was in the hallway today and started making loud sounds. She then said, "Mommy, I can hear my elk. I mean, my elko (echo)." This was cute because we are visiting my parents in Elko, NV.
She misses her daddy. He wasn't able to come with us, and today she had a huge tantrum because I had to say no to something (can't even remember what it was). She started screaming, "I want my daddy!" She is daddy's girl, 100%. I told her we could call him on the phone and she just cried even more and said she wanted him here with her right now. Shortly after this craziness, she passed out (because she woke up at 5:30 this morning)! Good grief. What's gotten in to her? That is just way too early especially since I have to share my bed with her and that means no sleep for me because of those crazy gymnastic moves she pulls all night long.
(I'm sending her to grandma's bed tonight.)

Talking Toliet
Last night I woke up to that little talking toliet spouting off about "it's potty time". The toliet was talking! I assured myself that Jordan or Roxy bumped it. But then it happened again. It's cute when it happens during the day, at night I expect to see Chucky in pull-ups holding a toliet plunger. I turned it off. Even though it reminds me of the girls, I don't think I need to be reminded at two in the morning. Love, C-Daddy!
